A life in business is really just an extension of you and your past. Everything you learned to date can serve you well in starting and managing a business. If you reflect on what kinds of things you have enjoyed doing, and the things you have done well, you will get guidance in deciding what kind of business is appropriate for you. Almost anyone can succeed in business - provided you create a business model that fits YOU!

Business Organization
A business is an organization like an organism. Notice the same root word “organ”. It implies that both are living systems. In many ways, the business is a living organism. It has an anatomy - resources - and a physiology - activities.

Management Practice
Principles are guiding rules of thumb that you use to assist in decision making practice. They are general in nature and therefore apply to a wide range of situations. They often follow the logical pattern of "if... then..." statements, "If this situation exists then do that".
